Challenge
The customer manufactures of ball screws, required predictive maintenance on their products. To acquire data from the spindles, they need a sensor with special characteristics that they could not find on the market.
Solution
We have design and developed the sensor for data acquisition, the sensor node and the gateway. We have also designed the architecture of the communications for data transmission to the cloud. The data is visible through the IoT platform that it has been configured according to the customers’ needs.
This solution enables the customer to perform predictive maintenance, have an agile asset management and offer remote support.
