Abionica Solutions and ULMA Embedded Solutions put together their knowledge and experience to offer a free online seminar for all companies in the UAV sector.

It is expected that in couple of months the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) will publish the new regulation on certification of drones in Europe, being mandatory by July 2021.

The sector sees this regulation a big market opportunity to promote the use of UAVs for several civilian applications: package delivery, security and surveillance, search and rescue, forest fire control,…However, the main concern now is to comply with the requirements of certification standards.

Abionica, a Spanish company that is a reference in UAV security and certification and ULMA Embedded Solutions, have organized a webinar about civil and military certification of UAVs, especially aimed to companies that manufacture control systems flight and platforms, drone operators and companies that offer services with unmanned aerial vehicles.

The objective of the seminar is to present the main concepts of the regulation for the civil and military certification of UAVs in a practical way. "The sector already knows about them (STANAG, DO-254, DO-178, DO-160 ...), however, most of the companies do not know how to comply with the standards efficiently” points out Antonio Bedmar (CEO of Abionica). To which Oskar Berreteaga, (head of Systems and Software Engineering at ULMA Embedded Solutions) adds: “There are requirements, configuration, tasks and incidents management tools, as the ones that we can find on the IBM ELM platform. They help us to trace the systems development with the already integrated standard, which facilitates the certification process. We believe that they can be the optimal solution for the UAV sector”.

This webinar will be on 17th June at 4:00PM and is required previous registration. REGITER HERE
